ARE YOU READY TO BUILD YOUR BRAND & GET YOUR FASHION BUSINESS OFF THE GROUND?

Did you go to school for fashion design and now work at a boring job designing women's socks all day? Are you in school for design but are realizing that you are graduating soon but arent sure what to do? Do you want to work for yourself in the fashion industry but aren't quite sure how to do anything besides design? This is the course for you. This course is the sum of my first 5 years out of college, trying to figure out how to navigate this industry while attempting to work for myself. I now put out a collection every season and have a line of domestically produced garments that are filling racks in my studio stores around the country. This course is every expensive mistake i ever made packaged up so you don't have to make them.

Imagine waking up every day and not reporting to your boss. Now imagine being your own boss. Imagine telling people that you have your own line out, that you are a fashion designer and you can buy your line in stores. Its a great feeling..I know because I live that every day. I'm not going to tell you that it;s going to be easy. It's going to be a lot of work, but the most fulfilling type of work is work that doesn't seem like work at all. If you love it, you should live it.

This course will take you through all of the topics i struggled with while getting my company off of the ground after college, delivered to you in slide format with voiceover (by me! hi!) and is packed with tons of PDF bonuses and examples for you to use. I will explain to you exactly what you need a-z to get your clothing out of your head, off the paper, into production and onto racks in stores. Learn from my mistakes, case studies and experiences:

“Hi! I’m Julie and I’m a fashion designer!”

it seems so simple yet this is still my favorite thing to say. it seems so obvious and easy, but it is a title that i always wanted and sometimes don’t believe i actually earned it. When you ask a little kid, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” “i want to be a fashion designer!” I still feel like that child, only now, i’m grown up and i have been able to give myself that title.

It took almost four years of me floundering after graduating from a 4 year design program, figuring out how i was going to make a full time income with my designs, but not having enough money to survive and having to take on random part time jobs. I had the ideas, and the technical skills, but did not know the first thing about how to turn my ideas into clothing that people could purchase in stores. now, i put out two collections a year and have pieces on red carpets, stages and magazines around the world. I did all of that without ever having anyone invest capital in my company.

I wake up every day and go to my studio for a long day of working for myself, on my own schedule, with no boss telling me what i have and don't have to do on any given day. I set my own hours and take on whatever projects i want. I can take time off whenever I want, but i choose not to very much because I love what I do, and building an empire is a lot of work. Growth is essential, and it was not until I put my collection into production and began selling a line of clothes that real growth was achieved.
